Shipping policy

SHIPPING

Orders will be shipped within 7-10 days of purchase. We ship on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays only. We are not responsible for delayed, lost, or damaged mail.

Plants will usually ship in pot as shown in picture. Packing includes polyfill over the plant and thermal wrap surrounding the plant and pot in the winter months.  Cuttings will ship in perlite or stratum. I will ship using the agreed method within 7-10 days of invoice, likely much sooner unless requested! During winter please be mindful of temperatures.  We will not ship in single digit temps. We are happy to hold your plant for up to two weeks. Heat packs are available for an additional $5.00.

Shipping Stress and Cosmetic Damages:

Please note, some leaf damage and plant stress should be expected, as these are live plants being shipped in a dark space and are subject to rough handling and sometimes extreme weather. I will package your plant(s) with much TLC to reduce as much harm as possible, but I cannot guarantee how the plant will handle the stress of shipping.

ACCLIMATION

The plant(s) may have varying root strength and it is recommended that your plant(s) be placed in a warm area with adequate lighting to acclimate upon arrival and restart root growth. Light is very important in this process. The plants failing to acclimate to your growing conditions is agreed to be no fault of the seller.

Do not repot for at least 2 weeks after receiving the plant. It needs time to acclimate to your environment.

Stratum- Fluval Stratum is made of natural soil collected from the foothills of Mount Aso Volcano in Japan. This volcanic soil is rich in minerals and acids that are perfect for underwater ecosystems.
